  Notes	Katherine met John Grace after she arrived from Ireland. Banteer is also in County Cork and not too far from Drinagh. Apparently she was living with relatives and they wrote back too Ireland to find out what kind of a family the Graces were. According to Frank Grace, the reply came back "Salt of the Earth". So it was all right for them to get married. She was also active in the Sin Fein. Frank also told the story that she expected her brother Conn to come by. He was living in Texas. She was going to to a Sin Fein meeting. she said that if he wanted to see her, he could come to the meeting. Eileen's rememberances as told to Grace. She had apprenticed in Ireland as a seamstress. She always wore a white blouse and a black skirt She love music and would take the girls to see Gilbert and Sullivan She was the one who insisted that the children get an education.
