There are stories of Vincent always getting in trouble and his brother Frank getting him out of trouble. On one occasion, Vincent had a broken arm and was out in a boat. The boat either sank or capsized throwing Vincent into the water. He took the sling off his arm and swam ashore. Grace Klein remembers a visit to her grandfather's house in Flushing. Vincent took them out for a ride in the car. It was a wild ride and it scared the bejessus out of her. The only trouble that Vincent got in was for buyiny them ice cream just before dinner. Played the violin and later after he retired he took up the piano. He had a good repetoire of Irish music. He had a stroke and was diabled.
